Charging an Outstanding balance to the Existing Credit Card on file in the WebControlCenter


This article will walk you through the process of charging an outstanding balance on your account to the current credit card on file.

1. Login to the WebControlCenter at https://www.webcontrolcenter.com/customer.aspx. If you do not recall your login information please see KB 750.

2. 
Navigate to Customer > Billing > Billing Admin.  Here you will see all of the domains associated with your Customer ID.
 
          
 
 
 
3.  In the Billing Admin page, Locate and click the Charge link associated with the domain you wish to process the payment for. (Note: The charge link will be located under the Actions column.)
      
 
 
 
 
4.  The next  screen will display a message indicating if the charge was successful or if there was an error with processing your payment. Please read the message prompt carefully as it will indicate what has caused your payment to decline.
 
  • If the decline was due to your transacting having been declined by your Card Issuer: Contact your Credit Card Issuer for more information regarding the decline or add a different credit card to make your payment with by following our KB Article titled: Add/Change Payment Method
  • If the decline is due to an expiration date: Verify that your existing credit card expiration date and credit card security code are up to date by following our KB Article titled: Update Existing Credit Card
  • If the decline was due to a "CSC response not accepted" with codes P,S,N, M, or X: Verify that your existing credit card card holder name, company name, billing address, expiration date, and credit card security code are up to date by following our KB Article titled: Update Existing Credit Card
